And yes, I know what it's like to stare at a blank page and want to cry.

I'm a copywriter based in North Devon, and I work with small and medium businesses who know they need good copy but would rather leave it to someone who actually enjoys writing.

A well-written case study is one of the hardest-working things you can have on your website.

It shows potential clients not just what you do, but what it actually feels like to work with you, and what changes for the people who do. If they can see themselves in it, you're halfway there.

I handle the whole thing: a short interview with you or your client, the write-up, and two rounds of edits. Delivered as a polished document you can use on your website, in proposals, on socials, or anywhere you need proof that you're the real deal.

Your website is usually the first place a potential client goes to check you out. If the copy is vague, clunky, or sounds nothing like you, they'll quietly move on.

Good website copy does three things: tells people exactly what you do, makes them feel like you get them, and gives them a reason to get in touch. Sounds simple, but somehow it rarely is. I'll make sure yours does all three.

One thing worth knowing up front: I write the words. The design, build, and tech side is entirely yours to sort, though I'm happy to point you in the right direction if you need it. Just the prospect of dealing with code makes my teeth itch.

Launch Copy Packages

For when you've got something new coming and you want it to land properly.

Launching a new offer, course, product, or service is exciting. Writing all the copy for it? Not so much.

A launch needs a lot of words in the right order: a sales page that actually converts, emails that build anticipation without feeling pushy, and social content that makes people stop scrolling. Getting all of that to feel consistent, on-brand, and genuinely persuasive is harder than it looks.

I'll write the whole thing for you, so you can focus on the launch itself rather than fighting with sentences like Steve Irwin with a crocodile.

For staying visible without having to write everything yourself.

Regular, useful content keeps you front of mind with the right people. Not in a shouting-into-the-void way, but in a subtle, consistent “oh yes, she knows her stuff” kind of way. If you want to be the topic of conversation that starts “I was reading something the other day and thought of you…” That’s what good content does.

The catch: it takes time, and most business owners don't have much of that. And the blank page problem doesn’t get any easier just because it’s “only a blog post.”

I'll write posts that sound like you, cover what your audience actually wants to know, and are genuinely worth reading, rather than filler nobody asked for.

Why hand your copy to me specifically?

There are plenty of copywriters out there. I’d be mad to try and pretend otherwise. Here's what I can tell you about working with me specifically:

I'll ask a lot of questions before I write a single word. Not to be annoying, but because good copy starts with really understanding what you're trying to say and who you're saying it to.

I write in your voice, not mine. The goal is for people who know you to read it and think "yes, that's her", not "oh, she must have hired someone."

I won't baffle you with jargon or disappear down a rabbit hole for weeks. Good copy is a collaborative thing - your business is your baby, and you know it better than anyone. You'll have plenty of chances to say "that's not quite right."

And if I don't think I can help you, I'll say so. Life's too short for projects that aren't a good fit for either of us. But if it is a good fit? I’ll write you something you can really be proud of. That bit I’m confident about.
